So you purchased a wreath kit and want to make sure you are fully prepared to make a beautiful wreath? No problem, here's the Need to Knows about Rudy Lane Wreath Kits.
Wreath Kit Pick-up 2025
Wreath kits will be ready for pick-up on Friday, November 22nd at 5pm through Sunday, November 24th at 6pm. The kits will be located at the farmstand (covered shed) at 437 Rudy Ln, Linn, MO 65051. Just grab your kits, sign by your name on the list, and you are all set!
What's Included in Wreath Kits...
Wreath kits include a frame, wire, evergreens, pine cones, ribbon, and guide to the instructional video.
What you will need from home...
You will need a pair of pruning shears or similar to cut your evergreens to size. You will also probably need a pair of regular scissors to trim up the ribbon. And lastly, you will need a laptop or smartTV to watch the tutorial video on YouTube. That's it!
What you might want to add...
The items listed above are everything you need to make a beautiful, festive wreath for your home. That said, some of you are extra creative and like to further customize your wreath. If that's you, here's a list of some add-ons you could gather if you'd like. Pro Tip: Dollar General is a surprisingly good place to shop for accents such as bells and wooden snowflakes.
Embellishment Ideas:
Ribbon that matches your home's decor
Jingle Bells
Wooden Snowflakes, etc
Dried Citrus
Cinnamon Sticks
Feathers
Dried Florals and Magnolia Leaves
Other Tidbits
You should allot at least 2 hours to making your wreath, especially if you've not made one before or you have a group of ladies, because let's be honest, we get distracted easily. HA! If you are doing it solo and have done it before, you could definitely get it done in less than an hour.
If you aren't making your wreath the pick-up weekend, just keep your kits in your garage, carport or somewhere cool. Bringing them into your home will make them dry out faster.
Wreath Post-Care
After you've made your wreath, you can hang it on your door! I always recommend keeping it out of direct sunlight, specifically if you have a south-facing door with no covered porch. It can dry out in a hurry. You can spritz your wreath with water every few days, or even let it get rained on for added moisture. But truthfully, I usually forget to do all that after about the 2nd week and yet I keep my wreath up well into January. It may be a little dry, but it won't lose it's color as long as you follow the steps above.
And Voila!
That's the 411 on Wreath Kits. I hope you get to enjoy a Girls Night In making a festive craft, munching on buffalo dip, and cheersing some of your favoritve vino. I'm so thankful you chose me to play a small part in it!
Sincerely, Megan
